Dialogic Corporation acquires OpenMediaLabs’ business; increases video algorithm expertise and forms Dialogic Media Labs

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world-class products and technologies for media and signal processing, today announced that it has acquired the OpenMediaLabs business from its founders Joe Mele and Bob Logan. OpenMediaLabs develops the software that will power the next generation of IP video applications.

Dialogic also announced it will create a Dialogic® Media Labs research unit, focused on continued research into video algorithms. These algorithms will accelerate further innovation in both Dialogic’s video products and Dialogic’s partner and customer video applications. A new office near Red Bank, NJ will be opened to house some members of that team and Dialogic will be actively recruiting talented engineers in the area. Both Mele and Logan have agreed to join Dialogic and will occupy senior positions within Dialogic.
