Dewell licenses the iBurst broadband wireless system to develop and manufacture subscriber devices based on ArrayComm’s ASIC

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Dewell and ArrayComm signed an agreement today forDewell to license the iBurst™ broadband wireless system. Dewell, a leading Koreantelecommunications equipment manufacturer, will develop and manufacture iBurstsubscriber devices based on ArrayComm’s iBurst ASIC. Dewell’s iBurst products willinclude a range of configurations that will support both fixed and mobile wide-areabroadband data access and VoIP telephony. These devices will leverage the unmatchedperformance of iBurst technology, enabling operators to deliver profitably a whole newclass of Internet access and voice services to both business and consumer segments.Dewell’s first iBurst products will be available by the end of this year. The companyexpects to ship in volume to iBurst customers in markets worldwide, including Australia,the United States, South Africa, Mexico, and Asia.
