LONDON -- Global services company, Damovo, has become a systems integration partner and authorised service provider of Megabeam’s pan-European high-speed wireless LAN hotspot service. The new agreement will allow Damovo’s customers, at a fixed price, to log on easily and securely and access the Internet, emails and their own corporate network whilst in business locations such as hotels, airports and railway stations. Megabeam is the first company to offer a European-wide hotspot service.Paul Collinge, Vice President, Business and Solutions Development at Damovo explains, “Now an organisation can gain productivity by ensuring that an employee has high speed wireless access to their company network from locations outside the office. Megabeam uses proven, stable technology and has an impressive line-up of hotspots already established.”Megabeam has installed hotspots in key business locations across Europe such as Milan and Rome airports, London’s Paddington Station and hotels in major business cities including Hanover, Zurich, Milan, Amsterdam and Munich.
