China Broadband Corp. signs Internet service agreement with Corning's joint venture in Chengdu

CALGARY, Alberta -- China Broadband Corp. (OTCBB:CBBD) announced today that it has signed an Internet Service Agreement to provide data and value-added services to Corning's joint venture, Chengdu CCS Optical Fibre Corporation, which is located in the Hi-Tech Development Zone in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Chengdu CCS Optical Fibre Corporation, is a large optical fibre manufacturer and is a joint venture between Corning Incorporated USA and Chengdu Putian Cable Co. Ltd. "This Internet Service Agreement represents one of the largest multi-national corporations we have deployed high-speed Internet access and value-added services to," stated Mr. Matthew Heysel, Chairman and CEO.
