MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT) (www.adc.com) today announced that Communication Concept has deployed the Cuda(TM) 12000 Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) for Germany's first ever Multiple-Dwelling Unit (MDU) application in the city of Leipzig in the State of Sachsen. Communication Concept has installed the ADC Cuda CMTS as part of a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and data network that it is developing with HLkomm, a CLEC in Sachsen. HLkomm will provide the voice link via the Cuda, which acts as the main interface between residential subscribers in the MDU, HLkomm and the local ISP.

"We believe that Cuda's carrier-class capabilities and EuroDOCSIS(R) 2.0 compliance will add great value to Communication Concept's MDU network by delivering high-speed Internet access and telephony services today while supporting them in a broad range of service rollouts in the future," said Hilton Nicholson, president of the IP Cable Business Unit for ADC.

"Implementing ADC's technology will enable us to reach a significant milestone in the development of our network. We now have the ability to offer reliable, VoIP and data services to more than 300 customers within the MDU," said Torsten Below, CTO of Communication Concept.
