PHILADELPHIA -- Comcast Cable, the country'sleading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products andservices, today announced that Tony G. Werner will join the company asChief Technology Officer at the end of December.
In this role, Mr. Werner will be responsible for developing and guidingthe company's technology strategy and evolving network architecture,including supporting next-generation consumer systems and technologies,infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management toolsand technical standards.
Mr. Werner succeeds David Fellows as Comcast's Chief TechnologyOfficer. Mr. Fellows announced his plans to transition into a part-timeExecutive Fellow role with the company earlier this year.
