Peter Marsh joins Beltway team as regional vice president for Comcast Business Services

BALTIMORE -- Comcast Business, a unit of Comcast Cable, the nation's largest video, high-speed Internet and phone provider to business and residential customers, today announced that Peter Marsh has been appointed as regional vice president for Comcast Business Services, overseeing the company’s Beltway Region, which serves Maryland, Southern Delaware, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and portions of West Virginia and North Carolina. In this role, Marsh will be responsible for spearheading the continued growth of Comcast Business Services in this region, while also developing targeted sales and marketing operations that will further expand the company’s presence within the local business community.Previously, Marsh served as vice president of Business Services for Comcast’s Greater Boston Region, where he was consistently ranked as a top sales performer for the company in terms of market penetration, market share, order completion and Ethernet installations. Under his leadership, the Greater Boston Region was an important contributor to helping Comcast Business Services generate $2.4 billion in revenue for 2012, an increase of 34.2% from the previous year.“Peter has proven his capabilities time and time again, with record-breaking sales cycles and consistently superior performance during each of his years with the company,” said Tom Coughlin, senior vice president of Comcast’s Beltway Region. “We are continuing to experience substantial growth within the local business community, and having someone with Peter’s expertise on board is the perfect complement to expand and accelerate our efforts.” Comcast Corp.
