WALLINGFORD, CT -- CiDRA Corporation today announced it closed on a $100 million round of equity funding. CiDRA is a privately held, Connecticut-based developer and manufacturer of tunable photonic components and subsystems that allow management and control of traffic on next-generation optical telecommunications networks. The financing will be used to ramp-up CiDRA's manufacturing capacity as well as accelerate its product development activities to meet the aggressive growth demands of the optical networking industry.
