CacheLogic appoints execs, provides a live global Internet video broadcast service for the Singapore National Day Parade

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- CacheLogic, provider of the world's leading Digital Asset Delivery Network, today announces the appointments of Haran Sold, as Vice President and General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and John Dillon as Chief Marketing Officer. Both appointments have a combined experience of over 50 years in the technology industry.
Haran Sold joins CacheLogic from Keynote Systems, where he was Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA. Haran is responsible for all European sales, and will focus on accelerating CacheLogic's aggressive growth plans across Europe along with general management responsibilities for the region. Haran reports direct to CacheLogic CEO Phill Robinson and brings over 15 years of international management experience in enterprise and consumer technology markets to CacheLogic including a variety of management positions at Keynote Systems, Peoplesoft, NEC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Oracle.
John Dillon joins CacheLogic from Surfcontrol, where he was also Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for the Internet security firm's global field marketing, corporate communications, product marketing and management. John is responsible for developing the CacheLogic brand, lead generation and market awareness across the globe, also reporting direct to CEO Phill Robinson.

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- CacheLogic, provider of the worlds leading Digital Asset Delivery Network, a new generation of CDN (Content Delivery Network) services designed to meet the rich media needs of the 21st century Internet, provided a live global Internet video broadcast service for the Singapore National Day Parade held on August 9th.
Using CacheLogic’s worldwide VelociX network, the celebrations were broadcast live to an on-line global audience that far exceeded the organiser’s pre event forecasts. The VelociX network is now broadcasting an on-demand recording for those who missed the live event and this is proving very popular among Singapore nationals now living abroad in different time-zones.
