Brightstar Telecom India Pvt. Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of Brightstar Corporation is headquartered in Mumbai with a branch office in Delhi & plans to open new branch offices across the country in the near future.

According to Mr. Arun Batra, Country Head of Brightstar Telecom India, "Wireless service in India is expected to grow exponentially in the near future. But even with a population of over a billion people, it is still a highly under-penetrated market in terms of both wireline and wireless communications when compared to countries like Korea, Malaysia and China."

Batra continued, "Brightstar's presence will provide increased availability of products and value added services to wireless network operators, agents, dealers and retailers who serve the wireless telephony market in India."
