LONDON -- Brainstorm, a leading mobile technology specialist, and Mazingo Limited, a content mediation services company announce a strategic partnership to jointly market Mazingo’s streamed video content via a unique “3D Cube”, next generation “browser”, to network operators and media owners.

The collaboration means that Brainstorm can now offer a truly media neutral mobile content solution - spanning SMS, MMS and streamed video – from one single source. Customers will benefit in two key ways from this alliance. Seamless billing and account management will enable content aggregation and sourcing operations to be streamlined in the most cost effective manner, without compromising on the quality of the actual content. Mazingo currently provides a wide range of platform independent, streamed video content in its 3D Cube format, including adult entertainment, specialist sporting events and directory information. Under the terms of the agreement, Mazingo and Brainstorm will share revenues from collaborative projects. “Brainstorm was a perfect fit for us as they already supply MMS services to some of the world’s largest operators and understand perfectly their needs,” says Ray Winter, MD of Mazingo Europe. “Network operators need high quality branded video content if they are to succeed in persuading users to subscribe to new MMS and 3G services.”

“This is a really strategic ‘missing link’ alliance for Brainstorm, whereby we work with best of breed specialists to deliver a full service solution to clients,” says Craig Massey, CEO of Brainstorm. Brainstorm will manage the content delivery and commercial arrangements; Mazingo will focus on sourcing excellent content. We are forecasting the value of this partnership could be in the region of £3m this year as operators become keen to launch rival video services.”
