Boxing Orange announces new partnership with Bluefire
April 27, 2005
LEEDS, U.K. -- IT security solutions provider Boxing Orange today announced a new partnership with mobile and wireless security software vendor, Bluefire Security Technologies, which gives the company the right to market Bluefire mobile security solutions to enterprises across the UK.
The Bluefire Mobile Security™ Suite is the industry’s only fully integrated security solution including authentication, encryption, integrity monitoring, firewall, VPN, logging and central management. Bluefire enables the secure deployment and use of handhelds across the enterprise by allowing handheld devices to be secured as part of the IT network infrastructure.
“Mobile working has become the norm for most businesses across the UK and by not extending security policies to mobile devices, companies are leaving themselves open to attack, “ said Andrew Mason, managing director of Boxing Orange. “Working with Bluefire, we can reassure customers that their workforce can be protected when they are on the road and out of the office.”
“As companies worldwide seek the productivity and cost benefits of equipping their workforces with mobile devices, they are increasingly worried about the growing number and sophistication of threats to data on their mobile networks,” said Bluefire’s Director of Sales, Phillip Smith. “Government agencies, medical institutions, financial services organisations and other enterprises across the UK will now be able to obtain the advice, technology and products they need through our experienced and reputable network of resellers.”
