SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Boingo Wireless today announced a roaming agreement with Airport Network Solutions, a subsidiary of ICOA Inc. (OTCBB:ICOA), adding ANS’ Wi-Fi deployments in regional U.S. airports to the Boingo™ Roaming System.

ANS networks at Sacramento International Airport (CA) and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (GA) will join the Boingo Roaming System soon and will be followed shortly by Baton Rouge Airport (LA). Together, these airports service over 11 million passengers annually.

The success of ANS in deploying networks at smaller “origination and destination” airports, those with between 2.5 million and 10 million passengers, reflects the increased acceptance and demand for Wi-Fi services by business travelers.

“Wi-Fi services are not just for the biggest airports any more – business travelers now expect Wi-Fi in all airports they visit. As equipment costs decrease and user demand increases, all airports can deploy profitable high-quality networks that their visitors will come to rely on,” said Dave Hagan, Boingo president and COO. “ANS is well positioned to leverage this trend toward everywhere Wi-Fi access and we look forward to working with them as they grow.”

“Airports are demanding open access networks that bring the most benefit to passengers and workers, and with this agreement ANS is demonstrating its commitment to being a vendor-neutral Wi-Fi service provider,” said Rick Schiffmann, ANS chief executive officer. “We chose Boingo for our first roaming agreement because the company has distinguished itself as the leading aggregator with an unmatched footprint and consumer experience.”

In a separate release:

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - March 23, 2004 - Boingo Wireless today announced a roaming agreement with Truckstop.net, the leader in wireless Internet connectivity for the truck stop and travel plaza industry. The agreement will add more than 500 roadside Wi-Fi hot spots to the Boingo™ Roaming System.

So-called “windshield warriors” – mobile sales people, traveling professionals, truck drivers, and others – increasingly use Wi-Fi to manage their time and their businesses from the road. Wireless Internet access at a travel plaza provides a convenient means to plan travel logistics, check email, look into road conditions, report status or problems and access corporate Intranets and Web applications.

“Wi-Fi is successful in travel plazas for the same reason it is successful in airports – both are places where business travelers congregate and use their transition time to get work done,” said Dave Hagan, Boingo president and COO. “The success of Truckstop.net is another example of the growing Wi-Fi footprint, which is allowing more users to count on having access where and when they need it. This is vital for our Platform Services customers such as EarthLink, Fiberlink, Infonet, MCI and Telecom Italia.”

“Our users turn to wireless for convenience and the ability to stay in contact and get their work done on incredibly tight time schedules. More and more transportation professionals realize timely communication is essential, and this demand is fueling our rapid growth,” said Scott Moscrip, president of Truckstop.net. “By working with Boingo and continuing to grow our network, we’re able to provide convenient and seamless Wi-Fi access in more locations to more end users.”
