LONDON -- Bluwan, the world’s leading provider of multi-gigabit, point-to-multipoint millimetre wave backhaul and access solutions, has announced the appointment of Sebastien Peypoux as Chief Financial Officer. In his role at Bluwan, Sebastien will hold end-to-end responsibility for corporate finance, financial operations and strategy. His appointment marks the first in a number of hires Bluwan will be making in the coming months, due to increased demand since its successful commercial launch at Mobile World Congress in February 2011.

Bluwan’s ‘Fibre through the Air’ (FTTA) technology is a high-speed, high-capacity, point-to-multi-point wireless solution which allows service providers to increase existing network capacity in the 42GHz and 12GHz spectrums and deploy ultra-wide band access or backhaul solutions at a fraction of the cost of deploying optical fibre.

“We are delighted to welcome Sebastien Peypoux, a seasoned executive with more than 10 years of financial and operational experience, to our senior management team,” said Jean-François Galey-Sand, CEO of Bluwan. “Sebastien’s impressive background, which includes senior management positions at several publicly-traded and high-growth technology companies, will benefit Bluwan enormously. We are fortunate to have an executive with his leadership skills heading up our finance team and look forward to working with him during this exciting growth-stage.”
