BICS to integrate cVidya's fraud management offerings under strategic partnership
April 30, 2013
LONDON -- cVidya Networks, a leading provider of revenue analytics solutions for communications and digital service providers, and BICS, a global provider of wholesale carrier services, have entered into a strategic partnership that will reduce fraud across the worldwide telecoms industry. BICS will use cVidya’s FraudView solution to detect and prevent fraud across its extensive wholesale network and also provide it as a service as part of its Mosaic portfolio. The massive level of voice traffic carried across BICS’ wholesale network means it is exposed to many types of frauds and market-related risks. Drawing on BICS’ high level of visibility and richness of information, FraudView's analytical engines will provide BICS’ customers with valuable insights and bolster the global fight against fraud. Furthermore, the solution will help BICS deploy the appropriate controls on its own network to combat wholesale-specific fraud types, such as FAS (false answering supervision), IRSF (international revenue share fraud), PBX hacking and bypass fraud. This unique cooperation model will also enable cVidya and BICS to create a global fraud knowledge center to share valuable information, such as latest trends, hotlists, PRS lists and other fraud information between multiple FraudView users around the world, paving the way for more joint initiatives to fight fraud. The partnership will use this information to continuously update and improve the core fraud management system and as such ensure a best-of-breed solution to its global customer base.cVidya Networks Inc.
