Artimi appoints Colin Macnab CEO

SANTA CLARA, Calif. and CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- Artimi Inc., the single chip Ultra Wideband systems semiconductor company, announced Colin Macnab has joined as chief executive officer. The former vice president of marketing and business development for Atheros, Macnab brings a broad range of management and market experience to lead Artimi in the next phase of growth.

"Colin is an experienced executive with extensive knowledge and track record in the wireless communications semiconductor and systems industry," said Kaj-Erik Relander, general partner of Accel Partners and director of Artimi. "Colin has the breadth of start-up to IPO experience necessary to lead Artimi forward in becoming the market leader in UWB systems semiconductor products. Colin's strong relationships with target OEM and ODM customers in Asia will be instrumental in further developing Artimi's growing customer base."
