Anevia updates IPTV and OTT multiscreen products

LONDON -- Anevia, a leading provider of video streaming solutions and service infrastructure for live TV and video on demand (VOD) today announced new products and features at the IP&TV World Forum in London.

The new ViaLive XL Gateway is a high density and modular IPTV head-end capable of supporting up to 80 tuners in a single 4 RU rack unit. Optional modules include DVB-S/S2 tuners, DVB-C/T tuners and DVB-CI modules for third-party CAS/CAM. Other modules will be introduced in the near future. Part of the Anevia ViaLive solution for telcos and broadcasters, ViaLive XL Gateway can support advanced high availability features through ViaLive Sniffer and ViaManager Monitor software. ViaLive XL Gateway redundancy features include OSPF support, configuration synchronization between gateways, and internal module backup.

ViaMotion 3.2 is the new software release of the already widely deployed ViaMotion multiscreen solution for packaging and streaming live and on-demand video over-the-top. ViaMotion 3.2 now includes multi-bitrate TS support for leading encoder formats.
