CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Airvana, Inc. (www.airvananet.com), a provider of All-IP, third-generation (3G) CDMA2000 1xEV-DO infrastructure, was named a winner by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(r) 2004 Award in New England in the Networking and Communications category. Randy Battat, president and CEO of Airvana, was selected from more than 14 finalists in the Technology Category for New England by an independent panel of judges comprised of local community and business leaders and announced at an award banquet on June 24 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.
