Canadian carrier WIND Mobile selects Acision to deliver advanced messaging solutions

TORONTO -- Acision, a world leader in mobile data, today announced that Canadian carrier WIND Mobile, is deploying Acision’s advanced messaging and reporting solutions. This is to enable WIND to have a deeper understanding of subscriber preferences and provides a platform for the delivery of high value mobile messaging and data services to its customers.

Launched in December 2009, WIND Mobile is already one of Canada’s leading wireless carriers and is recognized as a driver of innovation across the market. The Acision solutions being deployed by WIND are designed to enable the mobile data services that are redefining today’s mobile experience.

WIND Mobile has deployed the Acision Short Message Service Center (SMSC), Acision Multimedia Message Service Center (MMSC), Acision High Speed Proxy (HSP) and Acision Flexible Gateway (AFG) -- robust, scalable, carrier-grade solutions that enable carriers like WIND to deliver the new generation of text and multimedia services demanded by Smartphone users and today’s more sophisticated mobile consumers.
