Which States Have the Smallest Gender Gap in STEM Occupations?

Women in computer, engineering and science, or STEM, careers are outnumbered by men by a ratio of between 2:1 to 4.5:1, depending on which state they are working in.

According to a new infographic taken from US census data and compiled by InvestmentZen, Maryland has the lowest gap at 2:1, men to women, while Utah has the highest at 4.5:1. The rest of the states in the US fall somewhere in between.
