Re: Women in middle management Absolutely - women need to be their own champions and work with their colleagues, managers and HR teams to put themselves forward to opportunities. People sometimes make the mistake of thinking that if they're good at their job, they'll get a tap on the shoulder with a promotion but this isn't always the case. Be in control of your own career and create the opportunities yourself.

Women in middle management Great point that moving more women into middle management positions in tech is the responsibility of both the company and women themselves via self-promotion and networking. Self-promotion is tough, however - it's that delicate balance between tooting your own horn and gaining deserved recognition for a job well done.
