AT&T sees big promise in manufacturing, healthcare and retail, even before mobile 5G becomes available everywhere. AT&T AVP Igor Glubochansky, who is now responsible for enterprise mobility product management at AT&T Business, said increased edge computing capabilities would help companies operate devices and applications with lower latency, well ahead of 5G deployments.
