AT&T announced that Bunzl Distribution signed a $4.5 million contract for a range of networking and voice services

ST. LOUIS -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) todayannounced that Bunzl Distribution USA, Inc., a leading supplier ofdisposable paper and plastic packaging supplies, signed a $4.5 millioncontract for a range of networking and voice services. The three-yearagreement extends a long-standing relationship between the two companies.

Bunzl Distribution leases and operates more than 100 warehouses thatserve all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico as well as Canada, the Caribbeanand parts of Mexico. Under the terms of the agreement, AT&T will deliverits MPLS Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to connect 110 Bunzllocations throughout North America.

With more than a quarter of a million different supply items, real-timeaccess to accurate logistical and supply chain information is essential toBunzl. The company utilizes state-of-the-art Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) transmissions, customized order guides and choices of distributionsystems. Bunzl's system consists of order processing, purchasing,receiving, billing, sales, warehousing, distribution and accountingmodules. The reliable any-to-any connectivity of AT&T's VPN servicesenables Bunzl to deliver these state-of-the-art services in all of itsmarkets.
