RAMAT GAN, Israel -- BroadLight Inc. today announced the appointment of Iftach Ifhar as C.F.O. and VP of Operations. Ifhar will be responsible for strategic financial and operational development at BroadLight, an innovative company that is developing a cutting-edge solution for the next generation of Passive Access Communication Networks. Ifhar will direct BroadLight's financial strategy and planning, as well as oversee ongoing operations.

"Ifhar's vast experience in directing start-up companies and developing broad investor relationships will aid BroadLight in achieving its growth potential, "stated Ran Dror, BroadLight's CEO. Prior to joining BroadLight, Ifhar served for eight years as the C.F.O. of the Bynet Communications group (RAD-Bynet), the leading datacom system house in Israel.
