Verizon will unveils its Verizon FIOS suite of Internet services in parts of several Delaware towns and communities

MIDDLETOWN, Del. -- Verizon customers can experience breathtaking high-speed Internet access as the company unveils its Verizon FiOS (FYE'-ose) suite of Internet services in parts of several Delaware towns and communities.

A growing number of residents and small businesses in parts of the Middletown, Angola, Newark, north Wilmington, Delaware City and Hockessin areas now can order the industry's premier mass-market broadband services.

The company is offering several tiers of service with downstream (download) speeds of up to 5, 15 and 30 Mbps (megabits per second) and upstream (upload) speeds of up to 5 Mbps.*

In Angola, FiOS Internet Service now is available to some customers in the Long Neck, Rehoboth Shores, Peninsula and Pot Nets communities. In the Middletown area, FiOS is available to some customers in the city's South side, Dove Run, Sugar Loaf Farms, Odessa National, Long Meadow and other developments. In north Wilmington, FiOS is available to customers in more than a dozen communities, including Graylyn Crest, Green Acres, Lynnfield, Foulk Woods, Northshire and Windybush. FiOS is also currently available in parts of Delaware City, Port Penn, North St. Georges, Augustine Beach and nearby developments.

In addition, FiOS Internet Service now is available to customers in dozens of developments in the Hockessin area, and in several Newark area developments including Cannonshire, Charlan, Heather Woods, Deerborne Woods, Old Post Farms and Timberline Terrace Park.
