TDC Mobile introduces wireless broadband subscription service
December 23, 2003
COPENHAGEN -- At a fixed monthly rate, TDC Mobile's customers can now get unlimited nationwide wireless access to hotspots. The subscription is called "Wireless Broadband" and TDC Mobile is the first Danish mobile company to offer wireless broadband connections via a subscription.
"The new supplementary subscription is primarily directed at people who want wireless access to the Internet when they are on the move and wait at airports or visit Danish hotels and conference centers. Until now, these people have had to buy scratch tickets to get wireless access to the Internet. It will become cheaper and easier for them," says Peter Ibsen, Vice President of TDC Mobile.
