(NYSE:MOT - News) today announced that RST Communications has selected Motorola's gigabit passive optical network (GPON) solution to deliver new and advanced video and broadband services throughout its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network. RST will use Motorola's GPON solution to drive broadband IP voice, video and data delivery as well as energy management applications throughout its customer base in North and South Carolina.
