PARIS -- Broadband World Forum Europe -- Having already delivered the first batch of visual wonders from the recent Paris event, it's time to take a closer look at the show floor, where 3D TV and cocktails figured prominently.

Thsi year's show was a little trippy... or was that the cocktails kicking in?

Anyway, the show floor had some inteersting stuff. Look out for the post-event report today, which highlights the impressive demo at ECI's stand (my pics there didn't come out well enough to publish, unfortunately...)

That's somewhat of a relief to hear. thought I was the only one who takes hazy, out-of-focus images for our slideshows. Jeff

The most famous Brazilian drink is Caipirinha.

Caipirinha is made of sliced lemon (with skin) pressed with a pestle in a mortar (or a glass) with addition of sugar and Cachaça (a strong alcoholic drink from sugar cane).

When Cachaça is replaced by vodka, since the vodca was originated in Russia, the name Caipirinha is changed to Caipiroska in order to give a Russian accent to the drink.

Notes:

Caipirinha is pronounced like Caipiriña in Spanish which sounds approximately as Caipirinia in English.

Cachaça is pronounced approximately as Cashassa (sh as in cash)
