re: What the FTTH!?

I can't remember what corny headlines I wrote last week let alone years ago.... one worth recycling though. :-)

As for FTT?

For me, FTTH and FTTB make the cut, but not fiber to the curb/cabinet with VDSL2 tails, which I know some people include in Fiber access stats.

Good call on Russia, which lept from 19th to 10th place in the FTTH Council ranking of countries with highest penetration of FTT Home and Building (Sept 2010 to Sept 2011). Largely due to fiber to building projects in 30+ cities by cable TV operator ER-Telecom. But that is to the building, as I think you guys realize. No surprise that FTTx has greatest penetration in countries with dense populations living in blocks of multi-dwelling units, like Korea. Clever headline (though I was right: I had seen it before!) Enjoy Munchen.

Hi how will you put the Verizon FTTH to the way the other world countries are looking into make the there FTTH beter then the US company like Verzon. This company bring the fiber to a box called a "ONT" which to me stop the full use of the fiber data power to the customer house, if they just use a network system to store the fiber and branch it out fom that point i just see it better.
