SALT LAKE CITY -- IKANO Communications Inc., announced today at ISPCON in Santa Clara, California, the release of IKANO DSL. This product provides wholesale ISP partners the ability to offer DSL services to their end users on multiple telecommunications networks within the United States, including AT&T, Verizon, Qwest, and BellSouth. As part of the release, IKANO has created a unified provisioning platform encompassing the various telecommunications networks on its newly expanded DSL platform. Developed in conjunction with IKANO's recent acquisition of Los Angeles based DSL Extreme, the platform provides partners the ability to perform real-time multi-telco DSL pre-qualification and a branded real-time order system.
ISPs looking to expand into a high-speed access service offering are freed from managing long-term commercial agreements, equipment and network expenditures, and multiple LATA arrangements with numerous vendors. "The new wholesale DSL product is key to IKANO's commitment to combine as many DSL vendors as possible under one easy to use product at the lowest price," said George Naspo, IKANO CEO. "IKANO is working daily on continued network negotiations to further improve the product for our partners."
