U-verse in the Colony

5:15 PM -- AT&T's next-gen network is spreading around The Colony, Texas, these days. The most recent sighting of network upgrade activity was along a rather busy section of Main Street, where workers were testing existing copper and getting the old network ready to connect to the new.

Uh, and I don't think it was named after anyone, either.

If I recall properly, they even voted to retain the name during a plebiscite a few years ago.
