1:30 PM -- We joined about 200 of our closest friends, acquaintances, and even some outright strangers on Tuesday at The Cable Center in Denver to take in the Women in Cable Telecommunications Rocky Mountain "Tech it Out" conference.

In addition to learning a bit more about buzzwords like Docsis 3.0, tru2way, and "bound" and "unbound" interactive television applications, we got up close and personal with an EBIF app, and found out that Docsis 3.0 services can be had on the cheap…if you happen to have plans to move to Japan anytime soon. (See Wideband: Priced to Move .)

As a bonus, the crowd discovered which iPhone app is the favorite of Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) CTO Tony Werner.
