STOCKHOLM -- PacketFront, the provider of products and solutions to broadband service providers, has today signed a definitive agreement with Dutch based CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) specialist Genexis for the divestiture of PacketFront’s DRG/CPE Division.

‘After this divestiture PacketFront can focus on its three remaining businesses, our FTTH Access Division, our FTTH Network Solution Division and PacketFront Software Solutions AB, while still having access to a state-of-the art CPE portfolio. We will now invest further in all areas - sales, marketing and R&D – of these three businesses to further enhance their already strong positions as suppliers of innovative equipment, solutions and software for broadband service providers’, says Henrik Scharp, CEO PacketFront.

The addition of PacketFront’s CPE group to Genexis is an important step towards becoming the leading player in home gateways for the FTTH market worldwide', says Gerlas van den Hoven, CEO Genexis.

The transfer of PacketFront´s CPE Division to Genexis has become effective immediately as of February 1st 2012.
