Keymile Presents MileGate

HANOVER -- KEYMILE, a leading manufacturer and supplier of Next-Generation Access Systems with integrated network management is introducing MileGate 2110 multi-service IP-DSLAM at the Broadband World Forum in Paris. With its small size and high subscriber density, the latest member of the Milegate product family permits the installation of the network termination for VDSL2 and ADSL2plus services in the very close vicinity of the customer.

With its robust mode of construction, the MileGate product family is suitable for use in exterior housings, which means that the subscriber line can be reduced. The high band width which is achieved as a result of this is the basis for high-speed internet, voice and video services (triple play) via ADSL2plus and VDSL2. Network operators can offer both their private and business customers lucrative broadband services such as video-on-demand, online-gaming, video conferences, broadband LAN couplings and VPN access.

At the specialised exhibition, KEYMILE is demonstrating the performance of MileGate Multi-Service IP-DSLAM in a live application. The focus of the application is on triple play, the interplay of telephony, broadband internet and video via a subscriber line, and on solutions for business customers via VDSL2. The live demonstrations illustrate MileGate’s diverse portfolio of interfaces: from ADSL2plus to SHDSL through to VDSL2. A COMBO solution allows low-cost provision of traditional telephony and broadband services in the Next-Generation Network NGN, in which the customer profits from band widths with more than 50 Mbit/s.
