Bouygues to Offer DSL

BOULOGNE, France -- Bouygues Telecom and Neuf Cegetel have signed an agreement allowing Bouygues Telecom access to 1,000 subscriber nodes covering over 60% of the French population. Bouygues Telecom will acquire 626 of the nodes by 30 June 2008. Until then, Neuf Cegetel will sell Bouygues Telecom wholesale DSL capacity to enable it to provide services to businesses and consumers.

"This agreement will allow us to offer a DSL service to businesses and consumers and control end-to-end quality," said Philippe Montagner, Chairman and CEO of Bouygues Telecom.

"Neuf Cegetel is delighted to have been chosen by Bouygues Telecom for its DSL service. This underscores the quality, density and competitiveness of our unbundled network," stated Jacques Veyrat, Chairman and CEO of Neuf Cegetel.
