Cox CTO Joins SCTE Foundation Board
Scott A. Hatfield of Cox Communications has been appointed to the SCTE Foundation Board of Directors

EXTON, Pa. -- The SCTE Foundation announces today that Scott A. Hatfield of Cox Communications has been appointed to the SCTE Foundation Board of Directors, filling a vacancy created when Christopher Bowick retired from Cox Communications and resigned from the Foundation board this past summer.
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Board of Directors appointed Hatfield, who is executive vice president and CTO with Cox, as Bowick’s replacement on the 11-member SCTE Foundation Board of Directors. Bowick, who has been an SCTE member since 1981, was senior vice president, engineering and CTO with Cox.
Hatfield is responsible for Cox’s integrated technology organization, which includes all aspects of information technology and engineering. He is charged with the design, development, operation, and continuous improvement of a seamless technology platform to power Cox’s products and services. This includes the complete set of products, including video, data, wireline voice, and wireless.
