BBWF 2011: Huawei to Unveil New Network Strategy
It's unclear whether Bono is involved.
The vendor's networks CTO, Daniel Tang, will "define next generation network architecture and the way to evolve to the future architecture."
Simultaneously, Huawei will talk about the U2Net concept at the PT/Expo Comm China trade show in Beijing, where the company will explain how its new architecture can help service providers deliver video and cloud services across ubiquitous broadband connections of 20 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s.
The Light Reading team may have to pack some extra grey cells to deal with this and get to grips with Nokia Networks 's Liquid Net concept, which sounds like it might be something similar. Then there are all the other broadband-related propositions to check out… (See BBWF 2011: Hot Techs on the Show Floor and NSN Dives Into Liquid Net .)
I just hope there's some good espresso nearby … this all may require an attention span greater than that of a gnat, which is frankly asking a bit much.
