AFC to showcase latest solutions in broadband access at Supercomm 2004 in Chicago

PETALUMA, Calif. -- AFC® (Nasdaq: AFCI), The Acronym for AccessSM, today announced it will showcase one of the industry's most comprehensive portfolios of broadband access solutions in Booth 21421 at SUPERCOMM 2004 in Chicago (June 22-24). AFC will be demonstrating its field-proven fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) solution, FiberDirectSM, as well as other innovative solutions for DSL, video, and advanced voice services. Also at SUPERCOMM, AFC is officially launching, for the first time at any tradeshow, its new brand positioning and communications campaign "AFC—The Acronym for Access."

Complementing AFC's communications campaign and marketing efforts at the show will be a redesigned booth. AFC, a two-time winner for best booth at SUPERCOMM, will display the evolution of the access network throughout various workstations in its 60'x60' booth. AFC's marketing and booth design will assertively communicate the Company's positioning by leveraging the industry's own language of acronyms.
