December 17, 2008
MINNEAPOLIS -- Leading global connectivity solutions provider ADC (NASDAQ:ADCT - News) (www.adc.com) is working with Muleshoe, Texas-based West Plains Telecommunications to expand its fiber broadband capabilities and eventually offer broadband video. West Plains has mapped a five-year plan to build an advanced fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network and expects the first cut-over to the new fiber infrastructure by the year’s end.
“We feel confident the ADC equipment is going to be in our plant for years to come because of the way it’s engineered, designed and built,” said Mark Washington, plant manager for West Plains. “Our five-year fiber build-out plan will allow us to expand our service offerings to include increasingly higher-bandwidth applications. With ADC we not only have quality assurance, but also dedicated customer service throughout the entire process.”
