Bouygues Telecom's board of directors approved the appointments of Olivier Roussat as chief executive officer

PARIS -- At its meeting of 29 November 2007, Bouygues Telecom's Board of Directors chaired by Philippe Montagner approved the appointments of Olivier Roussat as Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Telecom and Emmanuel Forest and Richard Viel as Deputy Chief Executive Officers.

Philippe Montagner remains non-executive Chairman of Bouygues Telecom.

Emmanuel Forest has also been named Vice-Chairman of Bouygues Telecom.

Biography of Olivier Roussat – Chief Executive Officer

Olivier Roussat, born in 1964, is a graduate of the INSA in Lyon. He began his career in 1988 at IBM, where he occupied a number of positions in data network services, service delivery and pre-sales.

He joined Bouygues Telecom in 1995 to set up the network management centre and network processes. He then became head of network operations and telecoms and IT service delivery. In May 2003, he was appointed network manager and became a member of the Executive Committee.

Olivier Roussat has been in charge of performance and technology since January 2007. This unit groups Bouygues Telecom's cross-functional technical and IT departments, including networks, information systems, process engineering, purchasing, corporate services and property development. He has also been responsible for Bouygues Telecom's new headquarters and technical centre.
