BitBand expands IPTV reach to US

NETANYA, Israel and MILPITAS, Calif. -- BitBand, a leading provider of video content distribution and delivery solutions targeted to the Telco IP broadband networks, today announced the opening of its new U.S. office in Milpitas, Calif.

BitBand's proposition to U.S.-based Telcos and IOCs (Independent Operating Carriers) is powered by the company's leadership in supplying advanced and innovative Video On Demand solutions for the IPTV market. Currently, BitBand's solutions support hundreds of thousands of subscribers around the world at customer sites, including Italy's FastWeb, as well as other operators and service providers is Sweden, Norway, Germany, The Netherlands, Ireland, and India.

The company's offerings, including BitBand MaestroT content distribution and server management suite and BitBand VisionT servers, are designed to meet the needs of Telcos and service providers delivering entertainment and information services over Broadband IP networks. This solution is ideal for managing the video delivery of triple play services in networks ranging from initial small-size to large scale operations.
