Bing also announced the top three celebrities search on Bing this year. Perez Hilton was No. 1, beating out both Robert Pattinson and Megan Fox.
It'll be interesting to see how these results differ from Google's and Yahoo's top searches, considering Bing only just launched in June.
In other news:
Online spending on the Friday after Thanksgiving is up 11 percent from last year, comScore reports. Nov. 27 -- or Black Friday -- was the second-biggest online spending day in 2009, bringing in $595 million. Five retail properties -- Amazon, Wal-Mart, Apple, Target, and Best Buy -- each received more than 4 million online visitors, with Amazon leading with a 28 percent increase from last year. We'll see this week, how those number compare to today's spending, as Cyber Monday, the traditional start to the online shopping season, commences. [Ed. note: In any case, wouldn't you rather shop online than experience this?]
Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) announced today that November is already the best month ever for sales of its Kindle e-reader device -- even before the company gets a chance to factor in today's Cyber Monday sales. Much of this is probably due to the introduction of a new international version of the device, Mashable's Stan Schroeder points out.
And another thing: The top three celebrities are listed as Perez Hilton, Robert Pattinson, and Megan Fox. So those other folks in the top ten are non-celebs?

I believe this explains most of the Bing results.
