VARNA, Bulgaria -- BigSpeedSoft, Inc. today announced the release of BigSpeed Net 2.2, the world's first serverless private peer-to-peer client.

BigSpeed Net lets you set up a virtual private peer-to-peer (P2P) network with friends or co-workers in minutes. There is no need of a dedicated server, an E-mail account can be used as a connection hub. A small PHP application can serve as as an optional indexing server.

BigSpeed Net provides totally secure data transfer through powerful on-the-fly encryption. Easy one-click file download and upload operations are available directly from the file browser. The file transfers are optimized with on-the-fly data compression.

BigSpeed Net features user level access control with password protected authentication. It offers an ability to create/delete/rename files and folders on the remote system (if enabled).

BigSpeed Net includes a chat application with instant sending of single characters. It also allows exchanging of alert messages with popup dialog boxes.

BigSpeed Net provides an automatic detection of the external IP address for LAN users, single TCP/IP connection and single listening port for all type of services.
