DALLAS -- Avici Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: AVCI -news), a leading provider ofscalable core routing solutions for intelligent IP-over-optical networks,today announced the inclusion of its TerabitSwitch Router (TSR®) in the SuperComputing 2000 (SC 2000) SCiNET network.The TSR is carrying live trafficover multiple OC-48 (2.5Gbps) connections from the core of the SandiaNational Laboratory network in California tothe site of the demonstration at the ASCI booth located in Dallas, from Nov.6-10, 2000.
