Polaris's PNCT-ATCA-300 helps ATCA manufacturers meet interoperability and certification requirements

LEXINGTON, Mass. -- Polaris Networks, a leader in telecom testtools, today released the PNCT-ATCA-300. The coverage and automation provided bythis tester allows providers of ATCA building blocks, system manufacturers and TelecomEquipment manufacturers to comprehensively test the Hardware Platform Managementin their ATCA systems with great ease and in considerably less time.

The PNCT-ATCA-300 is a landmark release in manageability testing of ATCA buildingblocks, such as Shelf Manager, FRUs, carrier boards, mezzanine cards for compliancewith the system management requirements in PICMG 3.0 (AdvancedTCA) Rev 3.0. Thetester also helps to ensure that ATCA systems meet the interoperability and certificationrequirements of CP-TA.
