SAN DIEGO -- Continuous Computing®, global provider of integrated systems and services that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy Next Generation Networks (NGN), today announced its FlexCompute™ ATCA-XE50 processor blade, which enables best-in-class speed, performance, and energy efficiency through the Intel Xeon Processor. As an AdvancedTCA (ATCA) blade using Intel dual quad-core processors, the XE50 provides telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs) with a high performance, scalable solution with enhanced memory support. This announcement extends the company’s FlexTCA™ family of 10GbE systems optimized for applications including deep packet inspection (DPI), security, IPTV, IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and 3G wireless core.
