AT&T Inc. has added 11 new markets to its LTE map as it aims to cover 300 million potential customers in the U.S. with the 4G technology by the end of 2013.
The new markets are Dover, Del.; Leonardtown, Md.; Ocean City, Md.; Asheville, N.C.; Goldsboro, N.C.; Salem, Ore.; Culpeper, Va.; Roanoke, Va.; Longview, Wash.; Port Townsend-North Whidbey Island-Camano Island, Wash.; and Shelton, Wash.
"We plan to reach at least 250 markets with 4G LTE service by the end of summer 2013," said a spokesman for AT&T. "Our 4G LTE deployment is ahead of schedule, covering more than 200 million people."
