More Security Woes for Huawei
The Taipei Times reports that Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) has ruled that any telecom operator wanting to import Huawei technology must secure approval from two government agencies (the NCC and the Investigation Bureau).
This is just the sort of news that a company with ambitions to grow three-fold over the next few years doesn't need, as it will only make other governments wonder why the likes of Taiwan's NCC have arrived at such a decision. (See Huawei Aims for $100B Annual Revenues.)
