Huawei Sales Top $32B in 2011

Ray Le Maistre

12:35 PM -- Just ahead of its official 2011 results announcement, a senior executive from Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. has pegged the company's full-year revenues at 203.9 billion Yuan Renminbi (US$32.35 billion), reports Reuters.

According to Reuters, that represents year-on-year growth of 11.7 percent, though that number seems a bit high.

Huawei reported revenues of RMB 185 billion ($29.35 billion) for 2010, which (in its local currency) would give it a 10.2 percent year-on-year growth rate for 2011. (See Huawei Profits Climb 30% in 2010 .)

Things might become clearer when the company issues its annual audited report during the next few days.

A year ago, Huawei stated that it's aiming to boost its annual revenues to $100 billion by 2021. (See Huawei Aims for $100B Annual Revenues.)
