Arris announces it has deployed over 4M Cornerstone cable telephony voice ports

DULUTH, Ga. -- ARRIS (Nasdaq ARRS) today announced that, as of the end of January, it had deployed over 4 million Cornerstone cable telephony Voice PortsTM worldwide.

ARRIS began selling the Cornerstone Constant Bit Rate (CBR) Voice Ports in 1996 and has been the worldwide leader in the marketplace ever since. There are currently over 5,000 ARRIS Host Digital Terminals (HDTs) deployed worldwide with capacity for approximately 18 million lines of cable telephony.
